Our corporate group

PEM is part of the Zeman Holding Company (headquartered in Vienna) and is represented as an international company across regions. An international network of partners from production, logistics, and services is optimally combined with leading Austrian know-how. Our sales offices in many European countries ensure a high level of customer proximity as well as a good understanding of linguistic and legal matters.

The Zeman Group plays a significant role in the steel and glass construction industry. It was founded in 1965 by Hans Zeman. Today, the Zeman Group comprises more than 20 subsidiaries in eleven countries and employs over 700 staff from 33 nations. Zeman specializes in engineering, steel construction and fabrication, glass technology, as well as general contractor services for industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and architectural projects. The company implements projects worldwide, with a strong regional focus on the DACH region, the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, Turkey, and the Middle East.

Founded by Peter Ehrenbrandtner. Office in Linz with 4 employees

1978

New building at the Mauthausen location. 50 employees

1982

Major contract in Iraq: 100,000 m² hall

1989-99

Regional expansion and founding of PEM CZ, PEM Hungary, PEM Romania, PEM Poland

2001

Founding of Gerba Hallenbau based in Schwerin

Entry of Zeman Group (Vienna)

New office building for the general contractor division

TVI: Largest contract in company history (15 million)
