Steel is a particularly flexible, durable, and clean building material. But it also offers you further advantages, such as high cost-effectiveness due to its service life as well as a easy assembly, dismantlingas well as expansion.
PEM uses only high-quality materials for steel hall construction that comply with current standards. For example, complete hot-dip galvanization of PEM steel hall constructions prevents corrosion damage. This makes PEM steel halls into durable buildings, which can be used for decades.

Roof skylight strips and light domes
A nNatural lighting through the roof surface is the most effective way to supply your steel hall with daylight. For this, a continuous roof skylight strip can be used, which is arranged along the ridge or from ridge to eaves. In the skylight strip, smoke extraction flaps (according to a fire protection report) can be integrated, which can also be used for daily ventilation and aeration purposes.
Alternatively or as a supplement to this, Skylights – these allow hall areas to be illuminated at specific points. The skylights of the hall can also be implemented as smoke and heat exhaust vents with a ventilation function.

How much does a PEM hall cost?

This cannot be answered accurately. Because the halls from PEM are planned individually for each customer according to their wishes and needs. The price of a new commercial or industrial hall also depends on numerous factors, such as the location and the associated structural requirements for snow and wind loads, the use, and the equipment standards.

Frequently asked questions about hall construction
When will my hall be delivered?
The Delivery time for your steel hall at PEM is usually 10 to 14 weeks.
How long does it take until the hall is ready for occupancy?
The Construction time depends on the design and size. As a guideline, for a steel hall from the top of the foundation, you can expect between 5–8 weeks of construction time per 1,000 m².
Is a floor slab included in the offer?
Only for PEM general contractor projects a floor slab is offered as desired.
Which type of hall construction is the most economical? (Gable or monopitch roof, foil or panel roof, ...)
In principle, a panel roof is the more cost-effective option, regardless of whether it is a gableor mono-pitch roof is used. This version is suitable for storage and production halls which have no special requirements for architecture and fire protection. However, large-scale hall buildings are usually constructed with membrane roofs, which ensure a higher quality result. This also allows internal gutters to be avoided. For this we use exclusively products from well-known manufacturers, and the installation is carried out by our membrane specialists. In combination with a maintenance contract, we give you a 10-year warranty promise. Compared to panel roofs, you should expect a surcharge of between 20.00 and 35.00 EUR/m².
What does a standard hall cost per m²?

Of course, our customers can rely on the statutory warranty periods (Germany 4 years, Austria 3 years) when building a hall. For foil roofs, we also offer a 10-year guarantee in connection with a maintenance contract.

Yes, as your reliable construction partner, it is important to us that you can rely on the agreed construction budget. Even in the offer phase, we take into account not only the hall construction components but also all other cost-relevant items (lifting equipment, safety devices, waste disposal, etc.) that are required for the quality- and standard-compliant planning, production, and assembly of your steel hall. Once all details regarding the execution and scope of the new hall construction are clarified, we guarantee through a fixed lump-sum price, that there will be no unexpected additional costs for the customer.
