From the house of PEM: Expansion of the PV system

A lot is happening at PEM: At the Mauthausen site, the photovoltaic system has been further expanded. Since the hall and office roofs are already fully equipped with PV modules, the in-house installation team has installed an additional system with 23 kWp on the facade of the warehouse. This increases the total output to an impressive 140.8 kWp, now distributed across the roof and facade. This expansion enables PEM to supply the company's electric and hybrid vehicles with environmentally friendly electricity free of charge for most of the year. This not only helps to save CO₂ emissions, but also allows the steel specialist to feed surplus electricity into the grid. The PEM fleet currently already includes 12 electric and hybrid vehicles. By expanding the photovoltaic system, PEM is taking another step towards sustainable energy supply and environmental protection.
