News from the group of companies: Zeman takes over Waagner Biro Steel and Glass GmbH

With the acquisition, Zeman Stahl continues its path of consistent growth, bundles even more expertise under one roof, and expands its range: steel, glass, design, and architectural masterpieces. The acquisition does not result in any job cuts – neither at Waagner Biro Steel and Glass nor at other companies in the Zeman Group. The two internationally operating traditional Austrian companies, Zeman Stahl and Waagner Biro Steel and Glass, have enjoyed a collaboration lasting three decades. Together, they have closely cooperated on projects such as Złote Tarasy (Warsaw), Baku Airport (Azerbaijan), and Sheffield University.

Waagner Biro Steel and Glass has four offices in Vienna, London, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai, and now, as part of the Zeman Group, once again has access to group-owned production sites in three countries after more than two decades. For Zeman, this step represents a significant expansion of its range of products and services as well as a gain in know-how. Customers will benefit from these advantages immediately.
