On the fourth weekend of Advent, the PEM Santa Claus visited refugee children in Waldhausen, Sankt Nikola, Grein, and Baumgartenberg, who are cared for by Caritas Linz. Over 90 children could not believe their eyes when Santa Claus stood before them and handed each one a package. „Especially in times like these, we must open our hearts. The little ones are spending their first Christmas far from home. A small gift is meant to help them forget the war and their escape, at least a little,“ said Managing Director Mag. Thomas Ennsberger. The gifts for the little ones have a material value of €3,000 and include colored pencils and drawing pads, plush toys, toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as
toys, puzzles, and crafts.
