Project presentation: Airbus

The Military Air Spares Center is opening a new chapter in the history of the Airbus site: In order to expand its warehouse and logistics center, the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony took place on 25.10.2018 in Manching (D). Airbus will thus become the hub for the German Air Force's material management and will hire 250 new employees for this purpose. The major aviation company is being supported in the structural work by Feldbauer GmbH. The latter, in cooperation with PEM Buildings, is implementing extended shell construction work.

PEM Buildings has been working with Johann Feldbauer Bau GmbH for over 20 years. Due to the very good partnership and always solution-oriented cooperation, Feldbauer commissioned PEM as a subcontractor for this project. 25,000 m² of foil roofing as well as 9,000 m² of mineral wool panel façade are being realized by the structural and civil engineering specialist Feldbauer and the steel specialist from Mauthausen, PEM. Work is in full swing to achieve the ambitious goal of putting the 26,300 m² complex into operation at the beginning of 2020.
