PEM Buildings expertise for steel hall by IGO Industries in Kundl
A new two-story industrial hall is being built in Kundl for IGO Industries GmbH, an international and highly specialized group of technology companies. The total area of the new hall is 2,280 m². A total of 152 tons of steel with fire protection coating were used for the steel structure. PEM Buildings is responsible for the construction of the steel hall – including a foil roof on trapezoidal sheet metal and energy-efficient sandwich walls. A special feature is the cross-laminated timber ceiling (CLT ceiling) with a steel substructure, which was already installed during the shell construction phase to meet the tight schedule. In addition, around 220 m² of partition walls made of CLT are being installed by Höck Holzbau. With this project, PEM Buildings once again demonstrates its expertise in industrial and hall construction and contributes to the successful renovation and new construction of the modern operating facility.
