PEM builds 3-court tennis hall for Union Mauthausen

Union Stein & Co Mauthausen has been celebrating continuous successes and the rise of the club since its founding in 1963. After state championship titles, a championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga, and promotion to the Bundesliga, the national championship title followed in 2020. This milestone in the club's development is marked by the new tennis center. 

The heart of the tennis, training, and performance center, including an athletics area, massage, physio, and event facilities, is the new 3-court tennis hall – planned and constructed by PEM. The 1,885 m² hall is equipped with a panel roof and sandwich walls. Thanks to the SIN corrugated web beams developed by PEM, the hall geometry is precisely adapted to the needs of the club, and material usage is significantly reduced. Roof coverings and wall claddings with sandwich panels according to the latest thermal insulation regulations ensure efficient operation of the facility. Inside the hall, additional sound-absorbing elements, roof lighting with fall-through-proof light strips, and wall lighting with ball-proof clear glass glazing provide optimal training conditions for the current nine men's, one women's, and five youth teams in the championship. An open-air grandstand for the outdoor courts offers space for numerous fans.
