Supplier Zekon from Poland – Specialist for SIN profiles
The company ZEKON is not only a subsidiary of Zeman Beteiligungsgmbh, but also one of PEM's steel suppliers. Established in 2008, ZEKON GmbH is one of the most experienced companies in the Polish-Austrian group in the steel industry. And also one of the fastest growing: ZEKON has recorded steady growth in production in recent years. (approx. 30%)
The main area of the company's activity is the production of steel structures for industrial and warehouse halls, sports facilities and shopping centers, as well as steel structures in the energy and petrochemical sectors. ZEKON GmbH produces on an area of 9,500 m² Steel structures, which are produced based on the following profiles:
- corrugated web beams (SIN profiles)
- cold and hot rolled profiles
- welded profiles (straight and convergent profiles)
SIN profiles as a driving force for ZEKON
ZEKON is the only manufacturer and supplier of corrugated web beams (SIN profiles) in Poland. These SIN profiles combine the advantages of trusses – lightness – with those of welded plate girders – efficient production. ZEKON's production capacity is approx. 17,000 tons of steel per year. Marek Gierat, Managing Director of ZEKON, on the production of corrugated web beams: „Thanks to modern machines and equipment, we have the ability to manufacture very complex construction elements on schedule. Due to technologically advanced equipment and machines as well as highly qualified personnel, we guarantee a high quality of our services and products. In addition, we have an automated line for the production of straight and convergent SIN-web beams.“ The latter have experienced high demand in recent years due to their relatively low weight and price compared to welded, hot-rolled profiles and lattice structures.
